Durak Hazelnut Sustainability Team participated in the workshop on determining the Roadmap for the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Hazelnut Agriculture held in Giresun on December 9-10, 2024.
Following the opening speeches of the workshop, the applicability of modern agricultural technologies and artificial intelligence-based solutions in hazelnut production was discussed. Increasing efficiency in the production of hazelnuts, one of the important agricultural products of our country, developing sustainable methods and creating a production process integrated with technology, and discussing how the education curriculum can serve this purpose were among the main objectives of the workshop.
In the workshop, sessions titled “Technology and Artificial Intelligence in World Agriculture”, “Soil, Plant Nutrition and Water”, Cloud Architecture and Artificial Intelligence”, Disease and Pest Control and Yield Studies in Hazelnuts”, “Reducing Harvest, Post-Harvest and Processing Losses”, and “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Hazelnut Agriculture Education” were held for two days.
