As Durak Hazelnut Industry and Trade Inc., we have successfully implemented the "twig harvesting" practice in our sample agricultural orchards.
Twig harvesting, an important cultural practice aimed at improving productivity and quality in hazelnut farming, involves regularly pruning young shoots from trees and removing excess shoots.
This practice:
• Uses the trees' nutrient and energy resources more efficiently,
• Increases hazelnut yield and quality,
• Improves air circulation within the plant,
• Prevents the spread of moisture-related diseases.
