As Durak Hazelnut Industry and Trade Inc., we aim to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the storage process of our products.
To this end, we participated in the seminar titled "Pest Control in Stored Hazelnuts," organized by Ordu University's Faculty of Agriculture and presented by Dr. Yunus Emre Altunç.
The seminar covered in detail:
Pest species that can occur in stored hazelnuts,
The effects of these pests on product quality,
Current and scientific control methods,
Proper storage principles.
The training also provided important information on:
How to reduce product losses,
Practices that increase efficiency in storage processes,
Current scientific approaches to maintaining quality.
At Durak Hazelnut, we view participation in such training not only as a means of acquiring technical knowledge, but also as a significant step that strengthens our quality standards and contributes to our understanding of sustainable production.
In this context:
We are determined to continuously improve our storage conditions,
Update our pest control methods based on scientific data,
Disseminate practices that protect product integrity throughout the company.
The information we learned at the seminar will contribute to strengthening our storage processes, reducing product losses, and maintaining quality throughout the supply chain.
At Durak Hazelnuts, we continue to work with an approach that closely monitors developments, integrates knowledge into production processes, and prioritizes continuous improvement.
