A coordination meeting for the “Laleli Celebrates Science” project, to be implemented under the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program, was held with the participation of project stakeholders.
The meeting, held as part of the preparations for the science festival to be held in İkizce on October 8-9-10, 2026, addressed the project process, event planning, the duties and responsibilities of the institutions, and the principles of cooperation.
Durak Hazelnuts, one of the project stakeholders, continues to support efforts to increase scientific awareness, introduce children and young people to science, and strengthen collaborations in the field of education. The meeting evaluated the coordination and joint work plan of the stakeholder institutions for the successful implementation of the festival.
The “Laleli Celebrates Science” project, which aims to bring science, technology, and innovation to all segments of society, is particularly focused on providing significant benefits through applied science activities for children and young people.
In line with its understanding of social responsibility, Durak Hazelnuts continues to participate as a project stakeholder in education and science-focused projects and to support initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
