Ending Child Labor in Global Supply Chains

We participated in the meeting titled “Ending Child Labor in Global Supply Chains” held in the city of Leiden, Netherlands on 27-28 January, in partnership with the World Labor Organization (ILO), Global March and the Government of the Netherlands, and we carried out Durak Hazelnut with the Rainforest Alliance in order to prevent child labor in Hazelnut Farming. and we shared the "Each Child a World Program".

We talked about the work done so far and to be carried out in the upcoming period on the global goal of ending child labor (Alliance 8.7) by 2025. Global companies and organizations shared with us the actions and strategies they plan to carry out within the framework of the United Nations' World Year of Combating Child Labor (2021) and in the fight against child labor until 2025. The meeting named “Next steps to end child labor in global supply chains”, which brought people from all over the world together, ended after a magnificent 2 days.
