Summer School Visit from Trt News

On August 21, TRT Haber, Turkey's news source, visited the summer school opened by Durak Fındık for the children of seasonal agricultural worker families.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to see the education provided at the school firsthand and listened to the children's opinions about the summer school.
This summer school was opened to provide equal opportunities in education for the children of agricultural worker families. While the children are engaged in various lessons and activities to spend their summer vacations more efficiently, they also have the chance to reinforce their academic knowledge and gain new skills.
The TRT News team conducted one-on-one interviews with the children and listened to their summer school experiences. The children talked about the contributions the summer school made to them and stated that the new information they learned and the friendships they made here made them very happy.
The educators emphasized that the children made great progress both socially and academically thanks to the summer school and that it was very important for such projects to continue. It was once again revealed that such initiatives contribute to equal opportunities in education and enable the children of seasonal agricultural worker families to look to the future with more hope.
