    Green Transformation Awards – Third Place Award in the Sustainability Collaboration Category

    As Durak Hazelnut Industry and Trade Inc., we were awarded third place in the Sustainability Collaboration Category at the Green Transformation Awards organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

    This award is a significant indicator of our approach that integrates our industrial activities with social responsibility and sustainability. Being awarded this prestigious prize in this prestigious organization, which includes large-scale industrial companies, for a program focused on education and social impact, demonstrates that we address sustainability not only from an environmental but also from a social perspective.

    The award-winning work is based on the practices we carry out within the scope of the Every Child a World Program. The program was launched in 2018 in collaboration with the İkizce District Governorship, in line with our social responsibility vision. Initiated with the goals of preventing children from dropping out of education, supporting access to safe spaces, and raising awareness among families, the program has evolved over the years to become more inclusive, based on needs from the field.

    Today, the Every Child a World Program is implemented as a multi-stakeholder social impact model, coordinated with public institutions at the local level, and supported by collaborations with universities, civil society organizations, professional associations, and international stakeholders. This approach strengthens local ownership of the program while contributing to its long-term and lasting impact.

    Our CEO, Kadir Durak, made the following statement regarding the award:
