Teacher and Support Staff Training Conducted for Summer School

As Durak Hazelnuts, within the scope of the Every Child is a World project, which we have been operating since 2018, teacher and support staff training was held at Ünye Mehmet Necati Vidinli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on August 5, 2024 for the summer school opened.

This training covers important topics such as preventing child labor, accidents that may occur at school and first aid, discrimination and hate speech. Expectations from the program were also shared during the training.

In the training, comprehensive information was given to the participants on preventing child labor. In this context, the importance of protecting children's education rights was emphasized and awareness was raised about the negative effects of child labor. In addition, accidents that may occur at school and first aid interventions that should be done in the face of these accidents were discussed in detail. In this way, it was aimed for teachers and support staff to be more conscious and prepared in emergency situations.

A comprehensive training was also given on discrimination and hate speech. The participants were informed on how to react to such behaviors. This training aimed to increase the equipment of the staff who will work in the summer school and to ensure that children are in a safer and more equal educational environment.
