The International Labor Organization (ILO) declared today the World Day Against Child Labor in 2002 to draw attention to child labor and the efforts needed to eradicate it.
According to ILO data, 152 million children work worldwide today. Although child labor is encountered in every sector, 70 percent of working children are in agriculture.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) states that one in 10 children work in the world, and this rate is even higher in Africa and Asia.
As Durak Hazelnut Family, we are working hard to prevent child labor, especially in hazelnut agriculture.
NO TO CHILD LABOR.
