As Durak Hazelnut Sustainability Team, we participated in the workshop held in Ordu on 21.12.2023 in cooperation with Rainforest Alliance and Unicef.
The 5th Working Group Meeting of the Sustainable Hazelnut Villages Project, which will be carried out between 2022-2024 in the İkizce district of Ordu province, was held on 31.10.2023 in the İkizce MYO meeting hall.
Following the pre-test application and training provided within the scope of Sustainable Practices, which we carry out as Durak Hazelnuts, a final test application was carried out on 13.10.2023 to measure the awareness and learning levels of employees.
A picnic event was held for our students enrolled in our summer school, which continues as part of the Sustainable Hazelnut Villages Project, on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day.
As Durak Hazelnut Industry and Trade Inc., various activities were organized for students according to their age groups in our summer school opened within the scope of the Sustainable Hazelnut Villages Project.
We visited seasonal mobile families and their children who came to Kocaeli Center and Kandıra districts for the 2023 harvest year.
On 21.08.2023, our students registered in our summer school were given a free health screening led by Mehmet Ali DURAK, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Private Ünye Çakırtepe Hospital.

Within the scope of the Every Child One World and Sustainable Hazelnut Villages projects, 17 workers were given agricultural intermediary training on 18.08.20223 in cooperation with the Ünye İŞKUR Directorate.
Our summer school, which we opened as part of the project, met with the children of families who came to our region as mobile seasonal agricultural workers this year.
Within the scope of the Every Child is a World and Sustainable Hazelnut Villages Projects, we have identified the deficiencies of accommodation areas and continue our work to eliminate these deficiencies.
For the 2023 harvest year, we made welcome visits to the seasonal mobile families and their children who came to work in our district.

In our sample agricultural gardens, which we continue to operate as Durak Hazelnut, the 2nd Scythe application of 2023 and the application of raffia purchase were realized.
